Code of Conduct

Last Updated: June 2026

Welcome to Little Knights.

This Code of Conduct apply to all registrations, events, programs, activities, website use, sponsorships, donations, purchases, and services connected to Little Knights.

Little Knights is an operation owned and operated by Club Ninety Ltd. in collaboration with the Knights of Columbus, Council 13461. All Little Knights intellectual property, program administration, event operations, website content, registrations, media, and related responsibilities are managed by Club Ninety Ltd.

By registering a child, attending an event, making a payment, volunteering, sponsoring, donating, purchasing a product, using the website, or participating in any Little Knights activity, you agree to the terms outlined below. Only individuals who are 18 years of age or older may agree to these Terms & Conditions. By accepting these terms, you confirm that you are an adult and, where applicable, have legal authority to act on behalf of the child participant.

Players

As a Little Knights player, you are expected to:

  • Treat teammates, opponents, coaches, referees, and spectators with respect at all times

  • Play with effort, honesty, and a positive attitude regardless of the result

  • Accept the decisions of referees and coaches without argument or complaint

  • Encourage your teammates and never use language that is hurtful, aggressive, or demeaning toward anyone

  • Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to participate

  • Take care of equipment, facilities, and event spaces

  • Represent Little Knights with pride — on and off the field

Bullying, fighting, disrespectful language, and unsportsmanlike behaviour will not be tolerated. Little Knights is a place to grow, compete, and enjoy the game. How you carry yourself matters as much as how you play.

Spectators

As a Little Knights spectator, you are expected to:

  • Cheer positively and encouragingly for all players — not just your own child

  • Respect the decisions of referees, coaches, and event staff without interference or dispute

  • Never use threatening, abusive, or demeaning language toward any player, official, volunteer, or fellow spectator

  • Remain in designated spectator areas and avoid disrupting the flow of play or event operations

  • Model the behaviour you want your child to see

  • Treat all families, volunteers, and community members with courtesy and respect

  • Follow the directions of Little Knights staff and event organizers at all times

Remember: these are children. The sideline sets the tone. Negative behaviour from spectators affects players, disrupts events, and reflects on the entire community. Adults who cannot meet this standard will be asked to leave.

Staff & Volunteers

As a Little Knights staff member or volunteer, you are expected to:

  • Prioritize the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of every child in your care above all else

  • Treat all players, families, and fellow staff with professionalism, patience, and respect

  • Uphold and enforce the Little Knights Child Protection & Safeguarding Policy at all times

  • Never engage in one-to-one unsupervised interactions with a child

  • Use positive, constructive, and age-appropriate communication with players at all times

  • Arrive prepared, punctual, and ready to fulfil your role

  • Refrain from consuming alcohol or substances before or during any Little Knights event or program

  • Report any safeguarding concern, incident, or inappropriate behaviour to the Designated Safeguarding Lead immediately

  • Represent Little Knights with integrity — your conduct reflects the values of this program and the Knights of Columbus, Council 13461

Staff and volunteers are held to the highest standard because children and families trust us. That trust is earned through consistency, character, and care.

All participants, spectators, and staff are expected to have read and understood the applicable Code of Conduct before taking part in any Little Knights event, program, or activity. Little Knights reserves the right to remove any individual whose conduct is deemed inconsistent with these standards.
