Welcome to Little Knights.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all registrations, events, programs, activities, website use, sponsorships, donations, purchases, and services connected to Little Knights.

Little Knights is an operation owned and operated by Club Ninety Ltd. in collaboration with the Knights of Columbus, Council 13461. All Little Knights intellectual property, program administration, event operations, website content, registrations, media, and related responsibilities are managed by Club Ninety Ltd.

By registering a child, attending an event, making a payment, volunteering, sponsoring, donating, purchasing a product, using the website, or participating in any Little Knights activity, you agree to the terms outlined below. Only individuals who are 18 years of age or older may agree to these Terms & Conditions. By accepting these terms, you confirm that you are an adult and, where applicable, have legal authority to act on behalf of the child participant.

1. About Little Knights

Little Knights is a community sports initiative owned and operated by Club Ninety Ltd. in collaboration with the Knights of Columbus, Council 13461.

The purpose of Little Knights is to bring children, families, and neighbours together through sport while supporting charitable and community-focused initiatives connected to the Knights of Columbus, Council 13461.

Little Knights events may include soccer games, tournaments, festivals, training activities, BBQs, community gatherings, fundraising initiatives, merchandise, sponsorships, and other related programming.

2. Role of Club Ninety Ltd.

Club Ninety Ltd. is responsible for the ownership, administration, operation, branding, intellectual property, website, registration process, event organization, promotional materials, media usage, and overall management of Little Knights.

All rights, responsibilities, obligations, liabilities, and ownership connected to Little Knights belong to Club Ninety Ltd., unless otherwise stated in writing.

3. Collaboration with Knights of Columbus, Council 13461

Little Knights operates in collaboration with the Knights of Columbus, Council 13461, to support community-building, charitable fundraising, and local outreach.

Funds raised through Little Knights may be donated to or used in support of the charitable work, community initiatives, and service efforts connected to the Knights of Columbus, Council 13461.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, the Knights of Columbus, Council 13461, is a charitable and community collaborator and is not the owner or operator of Little Knights.

4. Registration

A parent or legal guardian must complete registration for any child participating in a Little Knights event, program, or activity.

By registering, the parent or legal guardian confirms that:

• All information provided during registration is accurate and complete.

• The child is physically able to participate in soccer and related physical activities.

• Any relevant medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or special considerations have been disclosed before participation.

• The parent or legal guardian has the authority to provide consent on behalf of the child.

• The parent or legal guardian has read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Club Ninety Ltd. reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or remove a registration if information provided is incomplete, inaccurate, or if participation may create a safety concern for the child, other participants, volunteers, staff, families, attendees, or event organizers.

5. Event Participation

Participation in Little Knights activities may include soccer games, warm-ups, training activities, group activities, food service, BBQs, community gatherings, promotional activities, and other event-related programming.

Parents and guardians understand that sport and physical activity involve inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, contact with other players, weather-related conditions, minor injuries, and other risks normally associated with soccer, outdoor play, athletic activity, and public community events.

By registering a child, the parent or legal guardian accepts these risks and agrees that the child is participating voluntarily.

6. Parent and Guardian Responsibility

Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child arrives prepared to participate safely. This may include appropriate footwear, athletic clothing, water, sunscreen, weather-appropriate items, and any required medical items such as inhalers, allergy medication, or other necessary supports.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their child before and after scheduled activities, unless otherwise stated by Club Ninety Ltd. or Little Knights representatives.

Club Ninety Ltd. and Little Knights are not responsible for children left unattended before or after the event’s scheduled times.

7. Code of Conduct

Little Knights is committed to creating a safe, respectful, family-friendly, and community-centered environment.

All participants, parents, guardians, spectators, volunteers, coaches, sponsors, and attendees are expected to behave with respect toward others.

The following behaviour will not be tolerated:

• Abusive, aggressive, threatening, or disrespectful language

• Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind

• Fighting or unsafe conduct

• Disrespect toward referees, volunteers, coaches, organizers, staff, or other families

• Damage to property or misuse of event facilities

• Behaviour that negatively impacts the safety, reputation, or enjoyment of the event

• Behaviour that conflicts with the values or purpose of Little Knights

Club Ninety Ltd. reserves the right to remove any participant, parent, guardian, spectator, volunteer, sponsor, or attendee from an event if their behaviour is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, disruptive, or contrary to the values of Little Knights.

No refund will be issued if removal occurs due to misconduct.

8. Photos, Videos, and Media Consent

By registering for a Little Knights event, program, or activity, the parent or legal guardian understands and agrees that photos, videos, audio recordings, and other media may be captured during the event.

These materials may include the child’s image, likeness, voice, name, team participation, and involvement in Little Knights activities.

The parent or legal guardian grants Club Ninety Ltd., Little Knights, and approved representatives permission to capture, use, publish, reproduce, edit, display, distribute, and share photos, videos, and media content for purposes including but not limited to:

• Website content

• Social media posts

• Promotional materials

• Event recaps

• Community updates

• Sponsorship materials

• Printed or digital marketing

• Advertising

• Fundraising campaigns

• Future Little Knights promotions

• Club Ninety Ltd. promotional use connected to Little Knights

The parent or legal guardian understands that these materials may be used for commercial, promotional, charitable, marketing, and community-related purposes without further notice, approval, or compensation.

If a parent or legal guardian has concerns about photo or video usage, they must notify Club Ninety Ltd. or Little Knights in writing before the event. Club Ninety Ltd. will make reasonable efforts to accommodate written requests; however, due to the nature of public community events, group sports activities, crowds, and shared event spaces, complete exclusion from all background images, crowd shots, group media, or event recap content cannot be guaranteed.

9. Medical Treatment and Emergencies

In the event of an injury, illness, allergic reaction, accident, or emergency, Club Ninety Ltd., Little Knights staff, volunteers, or representatives may take reasonable steps to assist the child. This may include contacting the parent or legal guardian, calling emergency services, or allowing medical personnel to provide care.

By registering, the parent or legal guardian authorizes Club Ninety Ltd., Little Knights, and their representatives to seek emergency medical assistance if deemed necessary. This authorization does not create a duty of care beyond taking reasonable steps in the circumstances, and does not make Club Ninety Ltd. or Little Knights responsible for the adequacy or outcome of any medical treatment provided by third parties, including emergency services.

The parent or legal guardian remains responsible for any medical costs, ambulance fees, treatment costs, or related expenses that may arise.

10. Food & Allergies

Some Little Knights events may include food, BBQ, snacks, drinks, or other refreshments.

Parents and guardians are responsible for informing Club Ninety Ltd. and Little Knights of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or food-related medical concerns before the event.

While reasonable efforts may be made to provide a safe environment, Club Ninety Ltd. and Little Knights cannot guarantee that food, BBQ items, drinks, surfaces, equipment, or event areas will be free from allergens, cross-contamination, or exposure to restricted ingredients. Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether any food or drink provided is suitable for their child.

11. Payments, Fees, and Refunds

Registration fees must be paid in full before participation unless otherwise approved in writing by Club Ninety Ltd.

Fees may cover event participation, soccer games, t-shirts, food, facility costs, equipment, insurance, administrative costs, staffing, operations, charitable fundraising, and other expenses related to organizing and running the event.

All sales and registrations are final unless otherwise stated. Refunds may not be provided for:

• Participant absence

• Scheduling conflicts

• Change of mind

• Late arrival

• Removal due to misconduct

• Weather delays or event modifications

• Failure to participate in all scheduled activities

• Incorrect information provided during registration

Club Ninety Ltd. may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis but is not obligated to issue a refund unless required by law or specifically stated in writing.

12. Event Changes, Weather, and Cancellations

Club Ninety Ltd. and Little Knights reserve the right to modify event details at any time, including but not limited to schedules, game formats, field assignments, activities, food service, t-shirt distribution, registration details, pricing, and event programming.

Outdoor events may be affected by weather, field conditions, safety concerns, facility issues, public health guidance, low registration, staffing limitations, or circumstances beyond the control of Club Ninety Ltd. and Little Knights.

In the event of poor weather or unsafe conditions, Club Ninety Ltd. and Little Knights may delay, shorten, modify, reschedule, or cancel part or all of an event. If an event is cancelled or significantly changed, Little Knights will make reasonable efforts to communicate updates using the contact information provided during registration.

13. T-Shirts and Event Items

Where included, Little Knights t-shirts or other event items are provided as part of the registration package.

T-shirt sizes may be subject to availability. Club Ninety Ltd. and Little Knights will make reasonable efforts to provide the size selected during registration but cannot guarantee exact sizing in all cases.

Event items have no cash value and may not be exchanged, refunded, or transferred unless approved by Club Ninety Ltd.

14. Sponsorships and Donations

Sponsorships, donations, and fundraising contributions help support Little Knights events, program costs, and charitable or community-focused efforts connected to the Knights of Columbus, Council 13461.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, sponsorships and donations are non-refundable.

Club Ninety Ltd. reserves the right to decline, remove, reject, or terminate any sponsor, donor, logo, business name, promotional material, or affiliation if it is deemed inappropriate, misleading, harmful to the reputation of Little Knights, inconsistent with the values of the program, or contrary to the purpose of the collaboration. Where a sponsorship is terminated after agreed deliverables have already been fulfilled by Club Ninety Ltd., no refund or compensation will be owed unless otherwise agreed in writing.

15. Personal Belongings

Participants, parents, guardians, spectators, volunteers, sponsors, and attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings.

Club Ninety Ltd., Little Knights, and collaborating parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or misplaced items, including but not limited to phones, bags, clothing, jewelry, sports equipment, water bottles, or personal valuables.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Club Ninety Ltd., Little Knights, the Knights of Columbus, Council 13461, organizers, volunteers, coaches, staff, representatives, sponsors, partners, venues, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, expense, claim, or liability arising from participation in or attendance at Little Knights events, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

By registering, the parent or legal guardian agrees to release and hold harmless Club Ninety Ltd., Little Knights, and their representatives from claims connected to participation, attendance, use of facilities, event activities, food service, photography, video, media use, website use, or other event-related matters.

17. Website Use

The Little Knights website is operated by or on behalf of Club Ninety Ltd. and is intended to provide information about Little Knights programs, events, registration, sponsorship, fundraising, community initiatives, and related activities.

Users agree not to misuse the website, submit false information, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with website functionality, copy protected materials, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

Club Ninety Ltd. may update website content, event details, pricing, descriptions, policies, product information, registration availability, and other materials at any time without prior notice.

18. Intellectual Property

All Little Knights names, logos, marks, branding, designs, written content, photos, videos, graphics, event concepts, website content, promotional materials, merchandise, and related intellectual property are owned by Club Ninety Ltd. unless otherwise stated in writing.

No Little Knights content, branding, media, logo, name, design, photo, video, written material, or promotional asset may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, displayed, sold, or used for commercial or promotional purposes without written permission from Club Ninety Ltd.

The collaboration with the Knights of Columbus, Council 13461 does not transfer ownership of Little Knights intellectual property unless expressly agreed in writing.

19. Privacy

Club Ninety Ltd. and Little Knights may collect personal information during registration, communication, sponsorship, donation, event participation, and website use.

This may include names, contact information, child participant details, emergency contact information, health considerations, allergy information, payment-related details, t-shirt sizes, media consent records, and other information needed to operate Little Knights events and programs.

Personal information may be used for purposes such as registration, communication, safety, event administration, payment processing, program updates, emergency response, media consent, sponsorship communication, and related Little Knights operations.

Club Ninety Ltd. may share personal information with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating Little Knights, including payment processors, registration platforms, and communication tools. These third parties are required to handle personal information appropriately and only for the purposes for which it was shared.

Personal information will not be sold to third parties. Further details will be outlined in the Little Knights Privacy Policy.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.

Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms & Conditions, or participation in any Little Knights event, program, or activity, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario.

21. Termination

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be terminated from the remaining terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

22. Waiver

The failure of Club Ninety Ltd. to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions on any occasion shall not be construed as a waiver of that provision or of the right to enforce it on any subsequent occasion.

23. Changes to These Terms

Club Ninety Ltd. may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on the Little Knights website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the website, registration for events, attendance at events, or participation in Little Knights activities after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms & Conditions.
